A friend of mine came over, and we held a Risk game. The not so little guy is getting a lot better. I managed to pull off the win, but he’s going to win one of these pretty soon!

We had a wind storm that knocked down a tree across the street from us, taking out the pole that feeds our house. Another pole went down at the entrance to our community, and another pole was ripped out and leaning. We checked out the neighborhood’s park , mostly for the excuse of walking around for a while. It sure isn't looking much like winter around here… The lake was flooding last week, but its back in its banks now. I'm a very blessed man!

It is FINALLY here! This year, very thankfully, we had the opportunity to once again spend it together with our family. Its not about gifts... but I must admit, I like seeing the smiles and the fun we have!

We went to our church's Candlelight service to celebrate the Reason for the Season. The boys helped me with the slides... training the next generation of "slide guys"... =] Every year, the candle portion of the service is very impactful. The boys liked that part, as well. Let your light so shine...
