I won a lottery of sorts to get one of the cabins my company provides for employees for a week at Lake Tapps. We spent a week on the lake relaxing, and swimming 5-7 hours a day… it was a great week of fun and rest!
The evenings were VERY restful and quiet. it didn’t come out in the image from my phone, but you could see Mt Rainier in the dim light of the Moon…
The Sunrises were just as relaxing… a great way to start off a day!
After breakfast, we’d hit the water, and stay until we came out for lunch!
It was one of those trips where you don’t do anything, and that’s ok…. =]
The camera didn’t do it justice, but the moon reflecting on the water was pretty calming!
To make it easier to get out of the water, we stacked up some rocks to make the step more manageable.
As the end neared, the boys were having troubling picking what rocks they would keep…
Every soft often, we’d be treated to a hot air balloon during breakfast.
The grille outside our cabin got a LOT of use!
We had a GREAT time, and the boys want me to make sure I sign up for a cabin again… it’ll likely be a while before I win again, though. Until then, I’m sure camping here will be on the docket next summer!
