They’re doing repaving work on our street, adding more of the ‘hi-traction’ asphalt that is supposed to work better in the winter (We’ll see). I forgot they were doing it, and got caught up in it on the way home.
In order to lay down the new layer, they are chipping off an inch of the existing bed. Slow work on a country road…
Traffic is pretty snarled up, but I suppose it’ll be better when they’re done… at least it will get the lines repainted!
