Mom and the older brother went to Sinlehiken for the annual memorial hike. That left the littlest guy and I at home so we could go to the Cub Scout Crossover. It was pretty warm, so when it went over 72 degrees, we went swimming. (72 was the cutoff my mom gave us as kids, and I’ve passed that on).
Out to the Lake. We didn’t have ANY problem finding a place to park! =]

I’m in the water, here, but you can’t really tell… the littlest guy wanted to ensure the stump and water were in the picture. =]

We had a lot of fun even though the water was pretty cold!

We found some decent-sized pieces of wood to float, and had fun piling rocks on them to use as a barge.

He had enough fun at that spot that he wanted to mark the trail to make sure he could find it again later.

What a great view! We had a fun time, even though the water was colder than we might have liked. It was fun to be able to swim again… Summer has truly arrived!
