One of the great things about where we live is Rattlesnake lake. Living near scenery like this is pretty awesome.

We went through the watershed information center… always a fun time!

We checked out the map, and watched the videos explaining the watershed’s contribution both to Seattle’s water supply, and to the habitat conservation benefits to the region.

The little guy has a pattern, and one stop is the binoculars to see how many people are up on the ledge. He counted over 40…

After checking out the watershed information center, we hit the trail loop to head down to the lake itself.

The bridge, and the waterfall, are a favorite stop. There seems to be pretty good flow.

We checked out the view down by the lake shore, and checked out things that looked interesting.

As usual, the view was spectacular!

The little guy found a ‘boat’, and used it to haul some rock tanks around… we had a lot of fun, and you can bet we will be back soon.
