I was given the opportunity to speak, and we decided to make a weekend of it. The weather was awesome, and we really enjoyed it.
The hotel was older, but it was very nice.
The play equipment left alot to be desired. =] The sad thing was that I had mentioned how big a slide they had. Seems they took it all out since I’d been there last.
We went down to the beach, and spent a while checking things out. Its too cold to swim, but we manged to have fun anyway.
Of course, they had to see how close they could get without getting ‘real’ wet….
Not a lot of people were there, and there was a good number of shells to be found. Its not legal to take them off the beach here in Washington, but it seems that when the crowds come, the shells seem to get real scarce.
The pool was a HUGE hit… it was bigger than most we’d been in.
The little guy actually jumped in from the edge fo the pool… the first time he’d done it.
We had a great time, and we were really glad we’d decided to make it a weekend!
