We went to Iceland for a honeymoon
Yes, iceland. 🙂 we wanted to go someplace neither one of us had been, and some place that’s different.
The big church in Reykjavik could be seen from just about anywhere. It is patterned after Asgard, the home of Thor, who was the god of the vikings.
The pipe organs inside of the church were quite impressive!
Of course we had to go up into the town. 🙂 the bells up there were huge it’s amazing point thankfully they didn’t ring while we were in the room!
The view was pretty impressive!
Leif Ericson, a Viking explorer, is credited with finding not only Greenland Iceland, but also finding Newfoundland, which he called wine land.
To honor his discovery, the United States gifted this statute of Leif Erikson.
