We got our license on June 15th. The License is good for 60 days, so that put us within the time limits, with a cushion of about 10 days or so…
The Office in Sammammish
There’s only a couple of places to get a license from in King County. We found it very odd that a county so big would have so few locations. One of them is in the town of Sammammish, so that’s the one we decided to use.
In a Strip Mall
Even more interesting, the office in Sammamish is in a strip mall near the center of town.
Now its Official!
There was a bit of paperwork to be filled out. We had most of it done already, because we downloaded the forms from the website. We finished up the rest in short order, and took our turn at the desk…
Signing the documents
Not exactly Rockwell, but it was a pretty BIG event in all of this… the documents were all signed and sworn, the county seal was placed on them, and we were on our way. Another step closer to the big day!
